i was gonna try and see if i could make a ladder bar type set up with tubing and the old leave spring shackles....the only problem that might come up is that the gas tank is realy close to the frame on the drivers side

If you stack the blocks for any length of time, weld them together. I had that done (welded original cast block to a steel plate extension -- special rods and preheat/postheat) and it's held up. You need traction bars to fight the wrap though. I did that also.

That looks really great. Nice job!!!

yeah you need to fix that rear end issue. drop the hangers like i did.

looks good man. i like it. surely you have some bumper steer though. i really like that color blue whatever it is.

overall it looks good, i would recommend getting or making a different intermediate steering shaft though, mine was like that and broke!

Man that thing is huge! I love the color up front on the components, looks great. x2 on fixing the stacked blocks and steering shaft.

Doesnt look bad, but there is a couple things I would address.

Lowering the truck would fix all of them.

Remove the lower block and then go to a smaller lift coil up front. Truck just looks to tall for 35's. But thats obviously my opinion that most on this site dont agree with. Two things in the front end that I noticed are, your upper panhard mount and your steering. The upper mount needs some sort of gusset or fishplate on the outside of the frame. The panhard mount in that location seems to be one of the common problems with SASing something that wasnt intended to be. With it just the way you have it, it has a very high chance of ripping from the frame. A fishplate or gusset on the outside would really help strengthen it. Secondly your steering. You seem to have to much lift for that setup. It appears that the TRE on your pitman arm is extremely close to being maxed out angle wise. Which can lead to some very nasty steering bind.

Lowering the truck to fit the 35's better would infact solve the steering and stack block problems.

I dont want to sound all bad. The rest of it looks pretty good, although Im not a fan of all the painted junk.

Good points Andrew. I agree on the height. I like them tall but depending on what you are going to do with it. If its for show go tall and big. For wheeling drop that sucker down. sometimes I think mine is TOO tall and I wish it was lower. But I need to clear 37s with stock fenders so for now i have to stick with the height I have.
