in the axles for sale..HP stands for what..and i take it the d35 is a dana 35?

edit-does it mean High Pinion? so there both dana 35s..whats the junk inside of em...

034x4 04-25-2006 03:51 PM

No evan, the front axle is a HP (high pinion) dana 30, and the rear is a dana 35.

They have 3.73 gears and open carriers.

SHOman86 04-25-2006 04:40 PM

bla im jealous..theres so much stuff u can do to a xj compared to my wj......have fun. i think i got the same stock setup d30 front n d35 rear with 3.73s

EdGe_wannabe 04-25-2006 05:00 PM

I didnt know you had a sister.

This is gonna be a bad xj when completed.

already of ahead of u sir lol....probally by end of june give or take or sometime in july....6.5 long arm with 33's and 4.56s =), probally a snorkel and possibly a arb front bumper

034x4 04-25-2006 09:36 PM

6.5 long arms you need 35's. 33's will look goofy and you'll have plenty of room for 35's. Don't get a snokel unles you really do go hauling ass through deep mud/water. I hate seeing rigs with snokels that crawl .5 mph through a water crossing.

SHOman86 04-25-2006 09:41 PM

the only way i will be able to clear 35s if i do alot of trimming.. i already read up on it...and yes i do plan haulin ass thru water =) n drivin thru deep ****

034x4 04-25-2006 10:08 PM

Ok good glad to hear you will actually use the snorkel.

The only thing you'll have to trim is the bottom corner of the bumper. Which won't be a problem with an ARB bumper.

My friend had a 5" short arm lift with 35x1250's and only rubbed b/c the short arms shortened his wheelbase so much.

SHOman86 04-26-2006 10:13 AM

Gearhead61 04-26-2006 04:32 PM

There was a 4-linked wj that went to my high school. Kid didn't know a damn thing about what he was driving. It never even saw a curb. Stupid rich people irritate me.
