My 98 stepside rides like it has a 1 ton suspension in the rear. I can go over small bumps in the road or a heavily painted crosswalk and it will want to bounce sideways. I deflated the tires some but its the same result. Since its a small bed and Im not planning to haul heavy loads with a trailer, what is a good way to soften up the suspension for daily use?

 

pull out a leaf.

maybe even just ur overload?

check for a stuck shock, its easier to pull off a shock then a leaf.

 

not as likely the issue though.
bad/old shock ya...but stuck shock? eh..

 

or he can have procomps made for an f250 that make it ride soooo bad in the rear lol
