Ranger Thunderbolt parts in an '11 XLT?
Hey guys,
There's a Thunderbolt at the local salvage yard. It had 25,000 miles on it, before it got a bunch of bullet holes in it (they may have happened AFTER it got to the salvage yard, though... several other cars near it also had bullet holes...). The build sheet was still in there, and it had the suspension upgrade package. The suspension has some surface rust, but a sandblaster and a trip to a powder coating machine will fix that. The components are in otherwise good condition. I have a 2011 XLT 4x4, 4.0L. Will the front/rear sway bar setups from the Thunderbolt fit into my Ranger? Will they be an actual upgrade, or are the parts on my Ranger now as good/better than the Thunderbolt components?
Also, will the signal mirrors fit? They're not suspension items, but I thought best not to make a new thread...
Thanks in advance!

IMHO... I think they are the same parts but check out lift kits, see what fit what year, the Thunderbolt parts should be the same.
I would think the frames will be the same and in turn the sway bars should fit, question might be... is there mounting points on the standard suspension parts, unless you use the TB stuff.
From what I can find the Thunderbolt Mirrors look similar to the standard '03 Mirrors, to me the newer mirrors ,'11, would be better, more viewing area.
Luck,
