adjusting traction bars

Im not sure where i should put this, but i was wondering how i should adjust my James Duff Traction bars.

When I put my jd traction bars on last week i noticed a difference, but when i spin tire in reverse, my truck still gets axel hop, and jumps like crazy. I was wondering how i should adjust them?

I have the bars adjusted so the axel is in the neutral postition meaning, i didn't crank on the front nut to pull the axel foward, and i didn't crank on the back to push the axle back. How do you have yours adjusted, is your axle push or pulled any bit? does anyone notice axel hop in a reverse spin out?

I dont know the answer, but how often do you really spin the tires backwards? I can only think of a handful of times I've had to do that...

But that was just one time? And traction bars only reduce the amount of hop, they wont eliminate it. And being on soft sand is going to make any axle hop, it's like 10x worse than hard dirt.

Sand will do it every time man. He's right on that one...and also right when he said that they only minmize the amount of wheel hop. I'm not too sure there is a full proof way to get rid of it?
