Another suspenson question>?

Ok so I have been reading every thread I can find for the last three days and my question is..... I was reading the thread about the difference between a suspension and a bl lift... I dont do any crazy off roading, but I do get a wild hare every now and then.. If I get a bl, what can actually go wrong?? Does the body shift off the frame?? And last but not least.. who has the best bl lift for sale?? I checked the link left on the suspension sticky and it is no good..

Nothing will go wrong with a body lift. They are very durable, but there are a couple things that can make them less attractive to look at then a suspension lift. First if you have a hitch, you will either have to let it hang down or you'll have to mod it to make it fit flush with the bumper. The exhaust is the same way.....without modification it will hang down quite a bit from the body. As for buying one, look up the Performance accessories kit on summitracing.com

Go eBay for a BL...most of us agree with the Performance Accessories Body Lift...easy and cheap. No shifting. Good quality.

There is nothing wrong with offroading a BL except for the fact that you don't gain ground clearance.

And stock suspension components can only flex so much.

i have played in the rocks, jumped my truck, got in some pretty hairy situations yada yada yada... unless you plan on jumping the **** out of your truck, which it doesn't sound like you are.. there is nothing wrong with a body lift.

the body lift doesnt give you any added ground clearance under any of the frame/drive line, but it has saved me from body damage a few times.
