I just ordered a set of KYB shocks for the 97 4wd because it still has the originals on it and they are shot, and have herd good things about them, but was wondering if anyone elts on here is running them on their ranger and what they think of them?

 

I'm not running them, but I sell all kinds of them at work and haven't heard any complaints.

 

I've got KYB Monomax on front and rear of my Ranger and am very happy with them. I got mine through Rockauto.com cheaper than any local dealer could do. They are quite a bit stiffer than my stock shocks which I prefer.

 

I have KYB excel-G's on the front. Good reasonably priced oem replacement.
If your lifted they also have the monomax.

 

I ran the monomax for a long time and was really happy with them. They do ride a bit firmer but it was what i was after.

 

I have KYB gas-a-just on all 4 corners. Its the next step up from stock...I like them. Had them on for 40k so far.

Try summit, they had better prices than rockauto for me. I think I spent about $110 for all 4.
