Anyone use the 8'' lift kit?

has anyone used the skyjacker 8'' lift kit for older rangers? i want to put one on my 90 ext cab 4x4

I didn't even know there was an 8" lift for any ranger

yah its made by skyjacker, its for the older rangers i think 87-97 or something

if i remember correctly its the same drop brackets as the 6 inch lift. except skyjacker just throws in 8 inch coils with the kit with a bigger drop pitman arm.. pretty decent kit i guess. big lift!

thats what i was thinking it was... does that mean to use the 8'' lift you have to buy the 6 inch to? that jacks the price pretty high!

no. just buy the 8 inch kit. one 8 inch kit will lift your truck 6 inches.. no need to buy anything else!

I basically have the 8" kit on my truck.. I have 6" coils plus a 2" coil spacer up front..along with the skyjacker extreme drop pitman.. it's a solid kit!

id rather go 6'' lift and 2 or 3'' body lift if you really wanna go that high, less angle on the drive line, less angle on the steering, the drop pitman arm for the 8'' is the one u want in the 6'' lift any how,

Can you get your truck alignment done correctly or do you only use for offroad?
