Question about 2" lowering coils.

I'm considering using coils and a hanger flip in the back to lower my truck 2". I've read alot and I'm still a little uncertain about wether or not I'll have camber issues or not. Will I be able to get an alignment afterwards and have my truck straight or not? And how will it affect ride and handling?

when you change the height of a vehicle (suspension only) then you will need an alignment and i dont think your alignment will be to far off being 2 inches lower.

dont do what i did and cut your coils lol.. it just causes problems. if you dont have adjustable camber bushings GET SOME!. after i cut my coils my wheels went /----\
allignment shop said they were ****ed by 5 degrees and i would need 135 dollars worth of parts to fix it. i said f you guys. payed 50 bux for 2 camber bushings (napa hookup ftw) and installed them myself. im getting my allignment today and hopefully i wont have tire wear problems any more

as to ride and handling - its a bit bumpier than before it kinda bounces up and down when i go over stuff.

my handling has improved. any time you get a lower center of gravity your traction and handling improve i think

hey smacks, thats just typical of a twin I beam truck, 98- up are a arm trucks

what i did on my 01 is got the camber bolts from summit, as far as ride quality, i went with DJM drop coils in front, and hanger flip in the rear, and it rides better then it did than stock

again, you have ibeams and he is on control arms, our alignment eccentrics are completely different than your bushing and I dont even know if we have ones that go up to 4 degrees. So before you post in here stating that, think a little ahead because your post could confuse or misinform him when hes looking to buy parts, and buys the wrong **** because of your post.
