Icon5 baby's first lift!?

Hey there! New to the forum. Just purchased a 2010 4x4 ranger, 4.0L, manual, sport trim.

I'm headed to northern coast of BC and there are some super gnarly logging roads and beaches I'll want to be able to access for work and play. Can you direct me to resources for how-o best lift the truck without compromising drivability and durability of truck?

My buddy said I can just crank the torsion bars, but I can afford to invest in kits so I just want to know what would be best.

It also came with winters, should I just put those on for off roading this summer then put summers back on when I hit the highway home in the fall?

That is a super clean looking 2010, nice find. Check out what rough country offers if you wanna get her up in that good air. I'm not sure what the difference suspension differences are between your truck and my 2001 but I know they offer several lift options ours trucks. I'd consider a rear locker if the roads are really gnarly and traveled pretty often...

Get a good suspension lift, you want clearance. A body lift will only give you clearance for larger tires. My '06 sport is RWD and did a 4" spindle drop and 2" shackles in the rear.
With that I was able to use 33X12.5 tires mounted on 15X10 wheels.

Now mine being a RWD seat lower from factory then your 4X4. So 4" was a big jump.
