ball joint replacement

ball joint replacement

i replaced the lower balljoint about a year ago and no i need to replace the upper is there a way i can cahnge it so i dont have to replace the whole upper arm when i need to change balljoints?

nope, unless its been replaced before, do yourself a favor and get an arm with a removable ball joint so you can replace just the joint in the future.

Yeah I believe we had this discussion not too long ago and the only way to do it is to buy the complete arm. Rockauto sells them and I think you can get both for $100-150ish. I could be wrong on the price though.

i knew i saw something on here about getting a arm with a replaceable balljoint but i stopped by autozone on the way to work and they said they didnt know what i was talking about

Yes you'll have to replace the whole arm if it hasn't been done before. I don't see the point in getting one with a replaceable ball joint though. You can get a whole arm for $30ish with the ball joint and new bushings and it's easy to install that way!

Idk whatbrand that is for where u can buy the whole arm for that but some of us want quality parts such as moot where the price is more for the whole arm
