Right under the driver door and passenger door. crawl under look up you will see 1 bar on each side extending toward the back.

There is a bolt coming down that is the bolt yo uncrank

you can remove the t-bars and it will lower it a lot.

Dont know how much you want to go

here is a edge with removed t-bars she hadn't touched the back yet though

You won't get any lower than 3 inches from a torsion bar suspension. You end up with the same problems as you would when you crank them. The ball joints will wear out quickly and you might start bottoming out if you uncrank them too much.

You can't just remove the torsion bars unless you replace them with something else like coilovers. There is nothing to hold up the truck and you will be sitting with the suspension bottomed out.

Hold up. I thought only 4x4 had t-bars. How do you figure what suspension you have?

2wd Edge/Sport models have torsion bars. Its the "upgraded" suspension.

So whats better? t-bars, or front coilovers with leafs in the back? (I assume my truck has the latter)

Torsion bars are an old design. They work but they ride like crap. Well at least on Rangers they suck. Coils ride better and you can lower them easily. Also when you have torsion bars they usually hang low and you can get hung up by them easily.

Ask Ford that and I bet they couldn't even give you an answer.
