You read it correctly. BOSE (as in BOSE speakers) has developed a suspecion system using electromagnets. Researching costs came in at an estimated $1.6 billion and over 20 years of time.

Oh yeah. According to my shop teacher it's first going to be available as an option for vehicles that are already rather expensive for about $5k-$12k.
