Will the lift fit my truck???

Ok so I just got a Performance Accessories 2" body lift for free from a family friend, the only problem is its for a 1990-1994 ford explorer. I know the rangers are explorer based trucks. My question is there any chance it will it work with my 2003 ranger? Im pretty sure its not going to match up but I wanted to make sure. And is there anything I could do to make it work?

Here is a link to the exact kit I have https://www.shopatron.com/products/p...75.32353.0.0.0

Thanks for any help, if it doesnt work i will put up for sale and try to get the correct one.

Link failed! mounts are mounts, I would imagine they will be the same, may need to get the correct brackets and extensions and stuff.

I fixed the link, and in comparing the two kits pictures that are posted on the website, the ranger one seems to have more spacers and lots more hardware with it than the explorer kit.

i would see how much the other stuff you need like brackets and stuff would cost, because the blocks would work,i don't think it would cost no more then $75 to make it work

The only parts usable on your truck from that kit is the lift blocks and MAYBE some of the bolts. That's it. Front bumper brackets, rear bumper brackets, steering extentions will all be different. Those happen to be the most expensive parts to buy seperately. I didn't bother clicking the link.

You're WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY better off just spending the $160 or whatever for the Summit lift for a 98-00 truck. It'll fit yours and it's been confirmed time and time and time again. The only differences between 98-current is the fuel neck filler tube and fuel neck vent tube diameters.

We have a bodylifting section... you really should check it out and the sticky at the very top of the list of threads.

Ok thanks for the input, I have looked at the Summit kit and will probably end up getting that, I just wanted to see if anything could be salvaged from this kit.

Yeah, you would be better off just buying the right kit.
