camber adjustment

camber adjustment

I need to adjust the camber. It was visibly off before the drop springs, nowits off more. How can I adjust it till I get into the shop.

the cam nut on top of the spindle you have to losen the bolt that clamps on it and rotate it. but it might be to far off for the degree of cam just take it to the shop ASAP...

hmm you cant unless you buy camber bushings and correct it.. but i would just take it in.. my tires were like this / \ so which way do they go?

damn rednecks.. well zach idk that is a gen earlier then myne so it is different i believe..

no the cam nut on top is the same for all our I-beam years.

My wheels are tipped out a little... sorta this / \ ever since they cranked the tbars and put new tires and wheels on. Is think something i should be concerned about?

well you will get the wear on the tires uneven, i would go have them put in some camber bushings and straighten the tires out.. it will improve the life of your tires, when they are in the way that they are now the inside of the tires will wear more then the outside of the tires.. but yeah you should be concerned about it but it isnt requierd.. just if you wanna save some life on your tires...

For the newer years you have to get the camber/caster kit which is new upper control arms. I wouldn't worry about it if you rotate the tires regularly. I have negative camber since i cranked my t-bars i just make sure i rotate at every 5k. No uneven wear.
