good for show but that's about it IMO too much lift for my taste. I'll take the F150 on 35's. Tranny leak, no 4wd makes no sense and who else knows what's wrong with it. To each his own -Mike-

for those wondering how you get in big trucks....
once the door is open.. 1 hand on the door grab handle, 1 arm on the floor or seat, climb up the tire, grab steering wheel or jus pull up with your arms...
its not that difficult really, getting out sucks if your used to hopping out of your truck ahah its quite a long fall...

and if the truck is set up right, it should not have body roll that much. the suspension should transfer the weight and then the sway bars should help keep the truck planted to the ground...

my friends truck has 38" lift on 53"s going up a decent inlcine and turning up it had very little roll to the truck. he did tell me he had to run a redlight once and was at a decent speed and the front tire came off the ground about a foot but it held the road. ha
heres his truck burning out haha its a stock 5.3 with intake, throttle body spacer, and exhuast and 5.13 gears haha
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=2037164332

and the truck has no front driveshaft cuz it still has the autotrac transfercase so it would be in 4wheel drive all the time if he had one connected...

Theres a guy on pirate that will pay you 20 dollars if you can find a law in writing that says Full hydro is illegal. The bet has been running since 2002, still no payout.

for how tall it is that truck looks to be build pretty well. So my only complaint is the height. No lift blocks, proper steering and suspension geometry, I dont like show trucks but at least its components are safe.

definately wasnt a show truck, it had tons of trail scratches all over it, and there where chunks of dried mud hiding everywhere underneath it, and it had a big "trucks gone wild" sticker on the tailgate... entirely to high though, unless he was trying to drive though canals and stuff, then i geuss its perfect ha

full hyrdo isnt smart on a DD is what ive heard..

being if the truck stalls or anythin in that nature (cuts off) you loose all power to your steering meaning the steering wheels is free and you are still rolling with no control..

i might be wrong but thats what i got out of the conversation..

if you've ever driven a bigger sized tractor, they're hydo steering.... i busted my main return line and lost 15 gallons in about 30ft or 5 secs... lost conttol of clutch, steering, hydrolics, and brakes. ( everything on tractors are hydrallic. ended up tryin to jam it out of geaar, and shuttin her down in the middle of a road

It depends on the orbital. Have you ever driven a forklift? Forklifts use a style or orbital you can turn the wheels when the engine isnt running. Its the same for Full hydro on a truck, even with the engine off you can turn the tires. Is it hard to turn? sure but so is not having power steering.

look at the brakes compared to the wheel and tires.......

custom lift.....$5000
24" wheels......$2000
42+" michelins.....$1500
not being able to stop due to stock brake work....priceless

^^ its not made to wheel. its made to drive on the street, pick up poon, and go to shows. you MAY see it at a mud bog, but its gonna be the party truck, not the one getting dirty.
