Coil overs in extremely cold weather

I am interested in doing the coil over conversion but I'm wondering how they hold up in extremely cold weather? Because if they don't then I can't do the conversion. And we can get temperatures around -40 during the winter.

you'll be alright... they'll probably be the warmest part of the truck if you use them hard enough, haha...

The 5W FOX oil is the preferred choice for winter and cold weather use. Unlike some of the other shock manufactures that use a 7-10W.

Some vehicles have coil overs stock. Tacoma for example.
