Give THIS a look.

There is a HUGE price difference between the upper right and upper left control arms. WHY??

I just replaced my upper right control arm w/ ball joint (under warranty from a shop I used to live near), but I noticed today (while doing an oil change) that my upper left ball joints boot is ripper all around.

I'd like to replace it, but would like to know what's with the prices. I no longer live near the shop I used to go to and it's out of the way. I'll just be changing it myself...in my new garage.

I think on your model truck pre 2004 one side is diffrent from the other where as on 2004+ they are the same for both sides *I THINK*

 

right one is adjustable on pre 2004.. its not just a solid arm

 

It is suppose to look like this?



Because both the left and right upper control arms look like this on mine.

 

I dont know then I know some have the adjustable ones

 

then they put the solid on yours when they did it.. i dont think it hurts anything

 

Just received this from an eBay parts store.

Is there a two piece design?? This is the picture above with the green background.

 

thats the one with the green the put it on trucks till 2004 after that its just one piece

 

the one piece arm is interchangeable with the 2piece. some came with 2piece, some not.
if your truck has one piece arms on both sides, stick with it.
