Coil Spacer Question

Coil Spacer Question

Will a coil spacer ( 2") from the gen before my 99 work on my truck? I know they dont have the same kind of suspension but they have coils and I didnt know if they would work or not. Thanks

to be honest i don't think so because the previous gen's used a retaining bolt on the bottom to "sandwich" the spacer and coil together.....

and on yours, pretty sure with the lower a arms the springs just ride in a "pocket"

best bet would be to get some lift coils, or better yet lift knuckles.....better to spend a little money when your life and the lives of others are on the line

Hey good call on fatbobs, on a related note I was looking over there at some coil spacers for my 97 2wd 2.3, for this item it says in the description that it works for 97's but on the actual page it only says 96 and earlier. Whats the deal and are there any differences between the 96's and 97's for 2wd?
