hmmm, ive never liked the idea of coil spacers or JUST longer coils in an IFS setup, you lose your downward suspension travel. youll probably be knocking that upper control arm on the frame a whole lot. i was going to try to do spacers on my 99 2wd, but the coils were so close to each other i dont think they would have fit. do you have a ring spacer or the little blocks that go between coils?

What NOT to do......

well i think it's coil seats it's only 1 inch and i plan on getting a spindle lift pretty soon just need some more room for turning my truck right now so the spacers sound like a good idea
and i'm also gonna goahead and install my explorer springs with it but.....i think the spacers should fit

if its just a seat spacer, you will need a coil spring compressor, or even better strut spring compressors, they go on the OUTSIDE of the springs and it should be a lot easier. do youreself a favor though, when you install the spindles take the spacers out!! 8)
