lift with tires

So i was looking at the Fabtech 2.5" coil lift kit. This would be a good option because i have a 98 2wd XLT 2.5 with the 4.10 gears and i'm trying to put 31" Bridgestone Dueller All-Terrain tires with 16" Chrome Dick Cepek DC-1's. I was told that i atleast needed to do a 2" suspension lift in order to get the tires in my wheel wells. I think it is going to do what i need especially since i need my ball joints replaced, but i was looking and it has a maximum backspacing of 3 and 3/4. The Dick Cepek's have a backspacing of 4.03. Will the rims i want fit?

I did a 3" spindle lift and could fit 32x11.50s fine. The 31s should fit fine with that kit. Those wheels should be fine as well since a lot of people on here run them.

Go with 15" rims, its a lot cheaper. I've heard good reviews about those tires, they're not very agressive looking though fyi.

Yeah, i wanted those tires because the have an off-road look to them and they are pretty good streetable tires. I'm not taking this truck off-road...i'm showing my truck in car shows. The thing is that they don't make the Dick Cepek DC-1's in 15" anymore. I might be able to talk to the manufacturer and see if i can get a set of the 15's but i doubt it.
