No you don't. You only need new uppers with spindles. You don't need them with just coils or coil spacers.
You do NOT need new uppers with coils.
I had the lift coil setup for a year. Stock arms, spindles and lift coils. I then changed to lift coils and lift spindles. When I did the spindles I needed to get arms. Cause the stock do not work with lift spindles.

Anything over 2" Coil lift you would need new uppers to correct the alignment issues.. if not, you'll be way out of alignment and you'll destroy your balljoints.
All that spindles do is drop the knuckle, no need for new upper arms.
When I had my lift spindles installed, I ran stock uppers just fine. When I got my mid-travel kit, I needed to replace my upper arms because the alignment was so off due to the longer springs.
Do some searching.

Dude how are you going to argue this with me?? I had 3" lift coils for a year. That is all. No alignment issues and no issues with my ball joints. They are fine!!!
Did you even install your own lift? Or did you go by what a shop told you? Maybe you need to search and realize that your wrong.
Do you want me to give you names of more people that have had the coil lift and no uppers? To finally prove to you that you are wrong? Do some research dude and realize that your WRONG!!!!

OK I was just asking cause you said when you had it installed. You really need to rethink what your saying cause you are not right. I am wrong sometimes and I admit when I am. But here I am not and you are. So when I get backed up in a little while you will see that.

OK I am not going to argue with you anymore about the uppers and spindles but you need to realize that I ran 3" lift coils with stock everything else for over a year. And it was fine. Everything was fine.

problem ive hear with the lift coils and stock arms is that the stock arms arnt built for the abuse and can break.... just my opinion .. but no offence adam but if the 3in lift spindle NEEDED the aftermarket upper a arm then fabtech would sell it with the spindles then instead of the 2.5in lift coils..and Camburg CRS Race Springs are amazing FTW..

I've toyed with coil suspensions on Lifted and Dropped trucks ( Hmm.. both were from the Rochester area too! ).
Balljoint angles will ALWAYS become an issue when the suspension is pushed up or down.
With what I have seen, in regards to lift coils.. Factory arms WILL work but an upper-cam kit for an alignment will be needed. The arms will need an eccentric cam to move it outward about a half-to-3/4ths of an inch to maintain balljoint correction/angles. You COULD trash your tires ( As I have seen in both examples ) and not run them ( cams ) and run them , I wouldn't advise it though.
