cranked em... finally

so i cranked my torsion bars the other day, pretty happy with the results.
just wondering.. i was riding 32.5" from ground to fender in front. i cranked them and got to 35".. at first i was like NICE cuz my back is 35". perfectly level. but after i took my truck in for an alignment they went down to 34.5"... now i heard 2" is the max you can get but is that right for an alignment to lower the height?

If you cranked them and measured before you drove it then it wasn't the alignment. After you crank them you should take it for a ride to cycle the suspension and remeasure and adjust if needed and repeat if necessary

^^^you dont even have to really go drive it. Just back it out of the driveway and back up and that will allow it to readjust.

Well, maybe if you would have read the freakin thread....

and yes that is from you're thread, so maybe you should have READ, "BEFORE" you spent 65 bucks on an alignment.

I'd say get some guys to shake the truck or jump on the rear bumper, lol... that will cycle the suspension...

the amount of lift you can get out of your tbars varies by year and model... what kind of tbars you have etc....

#1 bars typically get people about 2" inches of lift... B-bars typically about 1.25-1.5"

i got about 1.5" out of mine.
