Damaged leaf springs?
Hey,
My boyfriend is currently deployed and I am driving his '98 Ranger. He replaced both rear leaf springs early last year with ones he got from a salvage yard.
Today I went out to check the tire pressure, and the leaf springs didn't look right to me. I was with him when he got the springs and don't remember them looking like what I saw today, though I may have missed something in the install. However, I've looked everywhere online to find leaf springs that might look similar to what I saw today, but I can't, leading me to believe that the top "leaf" has bowed.
Can anyone tell me if these are right? Do I need to be worried?
Thanks!

Go figure, the day after I post that I actually was able to talk to my boyfriend, and he did install helpers right before he left. I just didn't know it.
But thanks for your quick replies! I really appreciate it!
I'll definitely be back if I have any more questions while he's gone.
