Dana 35 - 27 spline Axle thrust washer

I have a '94 ranger 4wd, 4.0L. I bought this 94 with a 4" lift and currently run 265/70r/17 tires on it. It has a dana 35 TTB front suspension. Ball jts and U joints are less than a year old and in good shape. The axle thrust washer has been heavily worn from the contact at the end of the spindle.
  • Would tire size and 4" lift change the angles of axles, causing the extra stress on that washer(s)?
  • If not, what can I do to stop the excessive wear?
