dana 35 ball joints

i have a 93 ranger 4wd 3.0 liter with a dana 35 up front and im stumped on how to do the ball joints (upper and lower) looking at it seems halfway easy its just a matter of how exactly things come apart and what not....the haynes manual seems like its crap on this subject it just confuses me..a halfway descriptive explanation would be nice on this please.....

there is c-clip on top of the a-arm you need to remove

and you will need ball point puller,, do not rely on a hammer

use a good rust blaster and let it set over night

i didnt see a c clip and that doesnt help much to me it looks like the 4wd axle is in the way to get the top joint out and the nut of the lower joint and also it looks like the top joint uses a pinch bolt to it in im just so damn confused and i feel like an idiot on something that seems so "simple"

there is a c-clip ,, you need to scrape away the rust to find it

the c-clip prevents the ball joint from being pulled out
