Does this mean the ball joint is bad?

Not that anyone cares but I got the lower joint back on tonight. Had to end up buying a new control arm since mine was a built in ball joint. Had to buy the Moog since it was the only one in stock and I wasn't gonna buy some cheap chinese one. Got it mounted to. Gonna finish it all up tomorrow night. I am super tired tonight since we finished rebuilding our fence today.

Advice for anyone gonna do this, rent the dang ball joint thing from whatever auto part store you prefer. It is awesome. No effort really for the ball joint.

Got-r-done this evening. It rides better. Gonna get the alignment tomorrow. Only thing is that the steering wheel is off now. It was off a little before but alot now. Hopefully the alignment will fix it alittle but the truck rode good and straight down the road.

Make sure when you go in tell them you would like the steering wheel straightened out.

I got done on Sunday and it fixed it for the most part. I will probably next weekend take the wheel off and put it on right.

I'll be doing this in 6-7 weeks along with (hopefully) a 3" spindle lift.

How much did the tool cost to rent?

Originally I was just going to take the control arms off and bring them to a machine shop and have them do it for me.

The huge kit that I got from Advance Auto was $180 but you get all of that back when you return it so I guess it would be free to use.
