How much lift will i actually get out of the Doetsch kit....and does the kit include instructions? I'm gonna have it put on, but i wanna make sure the guys at the shop do the nessesary grinds and stuff....

To the original topic (I don't know about the 6" kit, sorry):

he instructions are vague and generic, such as they are -- and sometimes there are NONE, depending on where you buy them.

You'd be best off finding everything you can on installing them. All the information you need is here on the board. Brake lines being slightly adjusted (or at least the hose/pipe junction needs to be moved, LCA grinding, caliper hitting the LCA, etc. are the main things that need to be addressed.

I have a ProComp spindle lift and 2" blocks for an '01+ Ranger you can have for $250.

As for the install issues, as I learned, there is a good deal of grinding to be done. I have almost destroyed a couple bolts on the spindle that hits the LCA, I have significant turning radius loss, and my ABS lines are currently tied onto the spindle. The grinding issues will hopefully be addressed this next weekend to regain my turning radius and save the life of the bolts on the spindles.
