Fabtech Spindles or Springtech Spindles? i need help!

ok... im wanting to lift my 2002 Ford Ranger Edge 2WD.

Ive been searching online and noticed that spindle lifts seem to be pretty popular so i decided id try it.

But i have a few Questions?

Should i go with the fabtech ones that cost $449, just for the spindle( alittle out me range, unless theres another place i can get them from for less?)

Or SpringTech Spindles that come with 2" rear blocks for $323 (found them on ebay but not sure if there good) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-2-L...spagenameZWD1V

An also,... a little off subject but... ive noticed some people talking about using ford explorer parts for there ranger edge? if possible.. what year explorer can we use from an what type of parts?

Id really appreciate it some one could help.

Any opinions please tell.

Thanks.

I have some used spindles for sale in well-used but solid shape. Less than 2 years old -- I just did a SAS. I'll throw in a well used (but fully pressurized) pair of Rancho RSX front shocks as well though you might want to repaint them, lol -- I do a lot of mud and water crossing. They have the red boots.

I had the old Doetsch spindles which are just like the ones Springtech is selling and they broke -- though that's probably my fault. Since I put on the replacement Fabtechs I can tell you they are way beefier.

My truck was also a 2002 2WD Edge.

How's $200 for everything sound, and that includes shipping?

I have some other stuff as well off the truck like some ball joints and what not. If there's something you want or need and it doesn't impact the shipping much I'll send it also.

Wow... i really appreciate the offer but..id like to buy everything new...so thats why im tryin to find out which one would be the best (fabtech or SpringTech).

If i have to save a little longer then thats wha ill do.

But do you know where i can find the least expensive Fabtech ones?

I saw a reply one time that gatorblue92 did to a thread ( i think that his name), but i cant seem to find them on 4wheelparts.com. like he stated.

Thanx again for the offer.

I'll get some. I have to take everything apart first, lol. I took the bolts off that hold on the control arms and dropped the entire suspension on each side when I dismantled. The spindle is still attached to the control arms, and the hubs/discs are still on -- which protects the spindle shaft from damage and rust so I wasn't going to take them apart until I was ready to sell them.

I'll try to get pics this weekend and post them -- though the weather is not promising and I work outside so that may hold it up a bit.

That's because their website absolutely sucks, lol. I bought mine from there and I had to order them by phone. Call them up and talk to them and I bet they can help you if they still carry them. Be very specific though or you could end up with the wrong spindles -- it's happened to some (not me though).

Well that would be possible if they were on the website. lol. thats the reason why i ask cause apparently the only way you can find out the price is if you called.

I beleive member: n3elz, was the one that stated that they were not on the website.

An like i posted before...my phone dropped in the lake.

I was jus seein if anyone knew off the top of there head at the time cause i didnt have a phone.

i just looked and they are not on the site anymore... no idea why either ... i see you are in Deltona so you could call the store in Orlando and see if the have them in stock and for what price... might be cheaper than the 1800 number they have and you could go pick them up

if you recheck, the price for the spindles ALONE is $449.

price for the Spindles, 2" block kit for the back, and an alignment kit is $573.95 shipped apparently.

thats not adding shocks at all.

I just did this lookup yesterday:D
