Fabtech spindle lift questions...
Fabtech spindle lift questions...
OK, hoping to do a Fabtech 3" lift this coming month.
So was looking at the 3" spindle and 2" rear block lift for my 2WD.
What if any other changes will I need to make?
I have 15" AR aluminum rims which seem to have plenty of backspace, more than factory at least, as the wheels moved outward a tiny bit when they were put on.
I'll be putting KYB Monomaxes on at the same time, already have those
also new front brakes/rotors since my left front is heavily grooved (below cuting spec) .
the "kit" I was looking at has the 3" spindles, 2" rear block, and the alignment bolt kit.
will I need any steering changes, extra parts, or anything special to watch out for?
I and some friends will most likely be doing the work.
thanks for any advice.
Best wishes for the holidays!

You may have to mess with the brake lines a bit to free up enough slack. Also, the steering stops with the Fabtech kit leave a bit to be desired for turning radius and you may want to grind them down a bit. I had those spindles -- slightly different -- on my 4x2 Edge before I did the SAS recently. In fact I still have my Edge spindles laying around and I'm probably putting them up for sale.

I think you're find. mind your lines and get it aligned afterwards.
