Icon8 What Kind Of Shocks For 3" Fabtech Spindle Lift?

I am trying to get new shocks for my 03 ranger edge, and i have called around and every shop wants to take a look at my truck because they want to make sure the torsion bars arent cranked too high for stock shocks. (The front was lower then the rear when i put the grill guard on, so i had a shop level the front out, which i think they may have cranked the torsion bars) The problem with that is that they want to realign the truck (which i just had it done a week ago when i got new wheels). If anyone has the right shock size and lenght for the fabtech 3" spindle lift in the front and fabtech add a leaf in the back. please help me. i am wanting to run rancho 5000's, and get them changed out by this weekend. please if anyone can help with part numbers

you dont need different size shocks. i rack stock shocks for 65k miles with no problems. just order replacement front shocks. dont listen to shops 95% of the time, theyre gonna get whatever u have in your wallet. good idea checking here first.

Thats like comparing a Pinto to a Mustang. They both get you the same place but the mustang is much better.

ok the shop measured my shocks today.

the front shocks are 17" from mount to mount

the back shocks are 21" from mount to mount.

Is the right size shock for the front that i should be looking for a 21" long when extended and 13" long collapsed in order to have 4" of travel each way?

the factory sizes wont fit, because the extended dimension is 18 3/4" which gives me only 1 3/4" of travel.

I ended up going with rancho 5000's model #5128 for the front. they are 13" closed, and 21" open So that gives me 4" of travel in either direction.

and went with model #5126 for the rear
, which are sufficient for a 3" lift.

thanks for all the help guys.
