Front driveshaft clearance with Superlift

So I finally got around to starting to install my superlift. Got everything bolted up just doing the coilover conversion now. My question is has anybody had problems with the front driveshaft hitting the the exhaust. I cant even bolt the driveshaft up to the front diff. Probably about an inch away. The brackets were pretty straight forward so I cant figure out why i dont have the clearance for the driveshaft.

They changed the down pipe in later years. You can locally heat and bend the area or swap to the older pipe. Or chop and reroute.

I had the same issue on a friends 2010.

Yes, ended up putting a small flat spot in the pipe to clear the shaft.

Is the the stock shaft or the superlift shaft? Either way wouldn't pertain to your problem, I'm just wondering.

Another question. Did you remove the down pipe or were you able to do it in place?

Did it in place , personally I would take it to an exhaust shop and have them modify the pipe.

That's kinda crazy. I was under my truck earlier and my exhaust is nowhere close to where yours is!

Well curiosity got to me on when Ford changed the Y pipe. Looking on Alldata I have come to the conclusion that 07 was the first year for the new Y pipe

Pictures from alldata.

Yeah I had to go take a pic cause I couldn't remember any problems with it but I guess there is on newer Rangers.
