Front suspension noises
Front suspension noises
I’ve got a 2011 Ranger, 2 wheel drive 4 cylinder, with about 140000 miles currently.
Im getting squeaks from the front end when turning the wheel, or moving the car slowly, or bouncing the front. Well maybe when going faster too, but the Ranger is so noisy I can only hear it when going slow.
I can’t seem to pinpoint the squeaks, but did find the bolts that connect the sway bar are both loose, and the spacer on the bolt slips up about an inch.
I can’t imagine that it’s supposed to be like that??? But that’s not squeaking, either.
From what I’m reading, lower ball joints are the usual culprit, is there any way to check without actually changing them out?
Thanks!
