FX4 vs FX4 Level II lift block height

Just wondering if there was any difference in these two heightwise. Couldn't find anything on a search...

The older FX4's have like 2.25 or 2.5" blocks i believe i read somewhere.. and the newer ones have smaller blocks for some stupid reason like an inch smaller. i may get some older blocks and swap them with my rears to bump it up another inch

all 98-06 4x4/Trailhead/Edge Rangers use 2.5 inch rear lift blocks. 07+ use 1.5 inch rear lift blocks.

hahahaha no doubt. my dad was saying how great of a deal 2010 Rangers were back in like June (like $5000 off MSRP at Ganley) and I was like "Yeah, but the 4x4 rides at the same height as my 2000 2WD. It would be like off roading a Focus lol."

I drove an 05 fx4 for two years then got a 05 level two. I don't know what it was but going from one into the other it felt higher. i'm not arguing that it is actually higher but something made it feel that way....tires, seats? just my two cents

Ive looked up a level II, and a regular fx4 on fords parts website, and I found the part numbers to be the same, but the ubolts were different because I assume due to the level II having a 31 spline axle.

little correction....

98-07 4x4 = 2.5" blocks
00-07 2wd Torsion Bar = 2" blocks
08+ Torsion bar = 1.5" blocks (But I swear I measured 1.75"...memory's fuzzy).

It's gotta be bigger than 1.25. You've got an '08....get a tape and measure!! lol.

Sidenote: I think I should be looking for '08+ blocks for a little rear suspension revision.
