Going to be double lifted today!

Take your grille off. Once that's done, you've got great access to the vertical pair of bolts. The horizontal ones, I use a 18" 1/2" drive breaker bar ratchet. OR...simply remove the bumper right now, then you've got lots of access to the bolts.

have you wedged in a needle nose vice grips on it? I did that to mine when it kept spinning. I let it spin around and hit the cab mount bracket mount thing, then held it there with my hand as my other hand was gripping the impact. You are using heat, correct? And an impact?
I couldn't believe how huge mine was when we lowered her on her feet after the superlift install.
Mike is talking about drilling 2 holes on the part thats spinning, drilled on opposite sides...if you happen to hit the rubber, oh well...it'll be okay. Then put a piece of flat bar in that matches those two holes, then screw that flat bar to the spinning part of the mount.

Yep yep! That's exactly what I did.. pretty nice picture actually, cheap way to make a tool if you don't have large enough locking pliers to hold onto it! Most especially if you have to do it all by yourself - I heated mine up with Mapp gas for a good long time and it never helped at all.. Takes less then 5 minutes to make this quick fab!

heat heat heat heat, thats all i can say about those bolts, body lift is harder than superlift imo i hated doing mine, have fun with the filler neck thats fun, just check your brake lines that your not pulling them in weird directions i didnt have to mess with mine, the rear bumper is a ***** to get the rear bolts, if your auto unplug some of the plastic things so you can get all the gears, hurry up and finish with some pics, go to home depot and get some rubber for gap guards

well guys, got the cab completely lifted.. got the front bumper and tow hooks off..
And shane- yes those are the big washers.. guess i used the wrong ones on the entire cab.. lol.. i couldnt freaking figure out how the hell to measure a washer and i tried going off how many it says your supposed to have but that wasnt accurate, so i just guessed.. ill buy some big washers for the back and just leave those lol.. dont feel like taking them out again..
Anyways, I finished the cab, got everything lock-tited down. now ive got about 4 hours left to wrk.. Ok, i can do this..start prepping the bed, then decide that i would hold off on the bed and just get the front completely done.. then do the back when i get back..
Started working on the radiator supports.. and that is where i stopped lol.. the god dammed freaking stupid A$$ drop down brakets that come with the kit dont work.. So i went off of what i got on here and started bending it.. Still didnt freaking work.. and after an hour of beating the **** out of my knuckles trying to hold up the radiator, and so on i threw in the flag with only 2 hours left before they closed..
Now, i have 2 options.. leave it in there parking lot for 10-12 days until i get back and work on it when i get back, OR pay to get it towed to the shop down the street and have the guy finish it off and at the same time work on the engine..
Im prob. just going to tow it.. That way its done when i get back..
but i have to say, for what i did get done myself, the dam thing is going to look SOO good when shes all done..
ill post pics later.. theres only like 3.

well, i already used locktite on them, and its not going to be very hard to get thick washers.. the shop has a whole wall unit of washers.. i just dont want to go through the hastle of taking them out.. Besides, i dont know if i will have the chance, i think im just going to send it to the shop and have him finish it so its not just sitting in the parking lot for 10-12 days... i can let him know he needs to use similarly thick washers in the bed..
