I am gonna order me AAL probably tonight and wanted to make sure I am getting the right one.

40$ ain't bad for an AAL

 

I would see if you can find some long AAl's. They generally give you a better ride than the shorts.

But I don't think you are going to find anything cheaper than $40 bones

 

Longer AAL's do give you a smoother ride because they are not as stiff. The shorter the AAL is the stiffer it has to be to get the same amount of lift out of a longer one. Its kinda hard to explain. LOL

Jake, cut off your exhaust and buy new shackles.

 

So I should get the longer AAL. The ride quaity will be better then the short AAL and I will still achieve the same amount of lift.

 

I have the same ones, I payed $50 for mine, I like the short ones because they are stiff, and I always use my truck as a truck, I load up my quad in the bed and my buddys quad in my trailer and there's not much sag. Before the AAL the truck would be totally raked, rear lower than the front.

 

I got those short ones, the ride isn't that bad.

Go get them.

I got 1.5" lift out of mine, and my leafs are "C" leafs.

They send you 2 sizes of center bolts. Use the bigger ones.

aal's suck they kill your leaf springs be ready to replace them as im doing now..........

 

really? how does one know when their leaf springs need to be replaced? and which did you have the long or short?

 

usually when they are flat as hell they should prob be replaced haha

 

when they start to suck lol, mine are **** for alot of resons, they are loud as all hell from the little spacer things coming out over time, there starting to sag a tiny bit but youd never know looking at my truck cause the torsion bars are sooo sagging right now, i had the long ones, alot of people i know have had there springs get cracked from aal's i dont like them, thats just my opinion though, im swapping in explorer leaves and the lowest setting on my shackles with no block....hopefully it sits good.....
