Hello Camburg, nice to finally meet you.
Well, a couple days ago my wife was driving my truck and was backing out of a parking spot and the spindle snout snapped. No offroading since these spindles were put on, only street driving. This is the 3rd set of spindles to snap on me, 2 fabtechs, and 1 pro comp.
3rd time of being lucky and not getting hurt or being on fwy when this happened. I'm tired of this lame **** snapping like this on these crappy fabtech and pro comp spindles.
Hello Camburg:
I went with the entry level kit because I don't offroad hard if at all anymore since I flooded my last engine so this will do me well and won't have to worry about snouts breaking off. POS.
I'm excited.
It's getting installed now and will keep you updated with pics when complete.

have you been able to get any compensation from fabtech or procomp for the spindles snapping? this is such a big problem with these kits and it is putting some serious danger into driving any vehicles with their systems on it. this very easily could have hurt or killed you or someone else. i would ----ing freak if i have three different spindles snap off from two different companies!

you do realize the pin is pressed in, and the pin throughout all the makers is a ford OEM part right? camburg actually requires you to take your stock pin and have it pressed into their spindle. so in turn, the snout is no stronger. Ive gotten air with my Doetsch spindles, without a single problem.
post some pictures of the camburg 5.5 kit on there, id love to see it. oh, buy the gusset kit, your frame will thank you.

Do you have a source for this? Camburg forces you to reuse OEM spindle snouts because of their strength, and I do not recall any incidents of anyone breaking the OEM snouts when used with the Camburg kit. I have no proof, but always thought Fabtech and Procomp did not use OEM snouts.
OEM snouts are put under tests by law, aftermarket snouts aren't.
