Help with Dropping my ride

Help with Dropping my ride

Can i give my trck a 2/3 drop with just coils in the front and a flip kit in the rear ? i read about new control arms and shocks, i did a quick search and i think ive concluded that i dont need new shocks but what about ne thing else
??

You you can do a flipkit with coils in the frotn and flipkit in the rear, but flipkit youll need the 2 inch lifted shackles to get the 3 inch drop, with stock shackles a flipkit will give you 5 inches.

I say 4/5 it, once you lower it the first time youll want to go lower so just do it right the first time and save yourself the time. For the 4 inch drop up front youll need lower arms which has a 2 inch deeper spring pocket and the uppers help correct the camber add the 2 inch coils and bam you got a 4 inch drop and with the flipkit out back is the 5.... You can get away with stock shocks on a 2/3 but not a 4/5..

So with the Coils and flipkit and lift shackles, how much am i looking to spend? For A 2/3 drop

200-300 depending if its new or used and if you get shocks, also plan on the cost of an alignment also.

DEFFINATELY GET DROP SHOCKS! it is night and day difference! less chance of bottoming out the shock and handling improves also
