I would like to switch my truck from torsion bar front to springs.... is it possible? has it been done? The advantages of springs such as availability of parts make the idea of switch appealing.

There's a coilover conversion kit available that eliminates torsion bars. ME00Stepside sells them on here. He's the only person you can get it from unless you buy used.

 

Unless you're talking about swapping to stock coil spring suspension, which would be pretty stupid IMO. With all the time, effort, and money youd have in that, you could do coilovers like Justin said and be miles farther ahead

 

That's why I only mentioned the coilovers. If you're getting rid of the bars, that should be the only option you consider haha
