Icon5 How do you remove the ABS Sensor on 2001 + Rangers?

How do you remove the ABS Sensor from a spindle? I took the bolt all the way out, but it seems like the thing is pressed in. I need to reuse the sensor from the old spindle because the clowns at the yard didn't bother to unhook the electrical connection. They just ripped it apart. (I did actually get a free rotor because they were too lazy to remove that too)
Here's a pic to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about.

turn the spindle over and take a small screwdriver and a hammer and punch it out...theres a locating pin that you need to hit...dont get carried away...just light taps

I wish mine pulled right out.
On the other side, there's a chrome cap. Is that what I need to hit?

Once the bolt was removed I just used a pair of channel lock pliers and gently twisted and pulled until it popped out when I did mine.

I finally got it out with a hammer and punch. It was seized up in there real good.
(I hope that I didn't damage it. I didn't pierce the metal)

when you get it all back together if your abs light is on you will know what sensor you need to replace if it comes on and wont go out
