Front hangers?

What would be the effect of flipping the front leaf spring hangers? I have a 96 2wd ex cab.

Lol, maybe I should've elaborated. Rear leaf springs, but I've already flipped the rear hangers and it didn't yeild enough drop for my tastes. I'm wondering about my driveshaft angles and everything if I flip the front ones. Anybody experienced anything like this?

just do an axel flip to on top of the springs, then if you want it a bit higher, you can just add longer shakles.

Yeah do a flipkit its like what $50 bucks? Easy to install but you will have to reflip your hangers unless you want a 7" drop with the flipkit installed.

yeah, you won't make 7" without bottoming or notching the frame, so reflip the hangers too. DJM flip kit corrects the pinion angle and moves the axel back 1/2" to center the wheel and give the drive shaft some room. 50 bucks on stylin trucks.

I'm getting it notched. Can I keep it at seven inches without scraping the road too much? Will I need to relocate the gas tank or anything? Also, how much of a notch before you have to cut the bed? You guys are a great help. Thanks.

you can easily do a 3-4" bolt/weld in notch.
