I was thinking of a 3 inch spindle lift with a little torsion crank if need be. I was wondering if I could just keep the Bilstein shocks that I have on now from an FX4, instead of buying a whole kit? Thats pretty much my main question for now.

And, to the members at the mudhole meet that might be reading this, you have changed my mind into possibly lifting the steed.

yes i know for a fact the front shocks dont get affected with spindles at all. now for lifting the rear hard to say if the rears will get maxed out.

go with some 15x10 and some 33's hehe would look sick on a yellow truck. the 15x10 are like $435 and the COUGH buckshots are $505

You do need to change out the rears if you lift it. You WILL max them out at full downward travel. When I had AAL's, shackles, AND the stock blocks the stock shocks were atleast 4" too short with the rear suspension decompressed...

hmm, I think you need a new kick panel for the passenger side for the interior. Unless you took it out for that day our something.

hmm, so how long would the shocks have to be for the rear, because I thought the fx4 were lifted higher in the back then a stock edge.

Fair warning, with you living in florida, And those mud grapplers. The rain and those tires DO NOT MIX. You will be all over the road. Just fair warning ya.
