inner tie rod replacement question

inner tie rod replacement question

howdy all, can I replace the inner tie rod on my 2wd ranger without having to remove the outer rod? thanks

The outer tie rod end is screwed on to the inner tie rod end, so the answer is no. youll need to remove the outer and the boot from the rack to access it.. Dont use Moog inners. I like moog everything else, but not their inners

just measure the distance between the driver and passenger tires and set it back after replacement...do one at a time

OK I thought that inner rod would spin in the joint and I could seperate the two just spinning the inner rod.
