James Duff Traction bar question:

I received 2 different rear mounting brackets (the one thats bolted on top of the axle & leaf springs with the U-bolts)

One of them has 3 holes to mount the stabilizer bar, the other has only 2 holes.

I have the 8.8" rear end if that helps. i think My axle is 28 spline, but im not sure...Which bracket do i use? the one with 2 holes or the one with 3 holes???

I'm thinking its the first one. The 31 spline has a bigger axle tube, thus why I would think the first one. Which one fits on better?

So you recieved 2 sets? If they both fit then it shouldnt matter but looks like the first one is smaller. I know mine came with 2 sets one set for 28 spline and the other for 31 spline

The bracket with two holes is for the 28 spline. The other is for the 31 spline.

Word, duffs are sick.

I love the traction around corners now... I took a corner @ 55MPH the other day and it ate it up. Tires stayed planted the whole time and no wheel hop or anything.

You'll love them.

Yea.....the spacing in th ubolt holes are different.....bigger = 3 holem 31spline. smaller = 2 hole 28spline. Of course....you'll know which one is correct when you do the install......only one will work.

Just a wider base to fit the wider U bolts i guess.

I got em in today and with the new leafsprings... feels so much better! i highly recommend the traction bars and skyjacker leafsprings!
