So a couple of weeks ago I called up JD to order some small housing traction bars since the bigger tires and shackles give me some axle wrap, and the yoke was binding. well they were sold out and aren't making anymore...as some people have noticed i've read. So i told him to just sell me the large housings, but he was a dick and wouldn't do it b/c he knew i had the 3.0 small housing.

So like an hour later, I called JD again and just said, "yeah i want to order a set of the large housing ranger traction bars." He asked me what year and what model, I told him i had the FX4 b/c those are the only ones they fit. I made out better this way anyways b/c they've been on sale since they are moving. paid $80 shipped.

So what i'm doing is, I have a buddy that works making weather-heads for buildings in a fab shop. I'm having him make me some that are modified to the small housing and he's making me double brackets for each side instead of just one. I should have them this week and i'll paint them and bolt 'em up. I'll get some pics of the new and old brackets(i'm keeping the large housings brackets incase i do an axle swap). and i'll get pics of them on the truck.

good to hear you got some, idk why he wouldnt sell them to you the first time.

i have 4 of them brackets on my truck, just never got around to going any of the other stuff. lol
