So my truck has been making some noise in lately so me and my buddy looked at it and I have a broken leaf spring mount. It looks like it is rivited in. Can i just pound out those rivits and get a new mounting bracket from a junk yard and bolt it on

 

I'm pretty sure you have to grind the heads off the rivets and then pound them out. For a replacement I would just pick this set up off eBay.

Yeah, grind down those rivet heads from the outside, then pound them through. Bolt on the replacement, done.

 

buy new ones... 20 bucks each maybe?

I GOT MINE FOR 32 FROM THE FORD DEALER THEY HAD THEM IN STOCK
