I got a 2002 ford ranger edgen 2wd with 3 inch blocks in the rear and 3 inch spindle up front with three inch body lift. I am starting to buy things to do my torsion bar lift. I going to get A torsion bars, moog joints all around. I am going to go to te dealer to get the stock block for the rear axle because mine are moving. But I need leaf springs that have 3 or 4'' of lift, I did not know if I could use skyjackers for an 83-97 2wd ranger? Also, do anyone makes control arms for better upper and lower ball joint angles that i could add?

 

i believe you can use cheavy leafs for some lift. i thought i heard that somewhere. oh and lets see some pics of the truck!

 

Chevy 63's will lift a ranger like 2" more than it'll lift a chevy..

BUT you have to be able to hack off the spring hanger and move it forwards 6".


That being said, as far as i know all ranger leaf springs are the same length so ones for an older truck should work.. 80-96 F-150 springs apparently are the same and offer a few inches of lift as well.

 

the skyjacker ones will work just fine
