Leveling Kit?

Did the t-bar crank tonight, came out nice. but while doin' it had a buddy call me also a member of this site and tell me I was an idiot, that they actually make a front only small lift to level a 2wd 04 edge reg cab...and that its cheap... Is there any truth to this???

most people including me do it on jacks stands because its easier to turn the bolts. I suggest taking it for a ride (which im sure u did) and check after and make sure its level. Also im not sure what u mean by leveling kit, basicaly a torsion crank is a leveling kit. Most leveling kits include spacers for coil suspensions, which you dont have

You get about 2.5" from a torsion lift and yes it is cheap, in fact, it's was probably free. Now, If he was saying that it was not safe...it's not how the vehicle came stock so it could possibly be dangerous, but no one here has had a problem like that ( as far as I know) other than ball joints wearing more quickly. You might notice that the front is slightly higher than the rear and there's really nothing you can do about that.
