lift it or leave it?

right now i have 6" springs in the front with 39 im thinkin about get 12" springs and runnin 42 tsl's.should i lift it or leave it alone?

Gearhead61 01-24-2006 03:00 PM

Is the truck your daily driver? You've only got a d30 up front, I'd be wary of running 39s on it, much less 42s. If it weren't your daily driver I'd say hell yeah! I just dont want to hear about you busting sh!t up.

ryanrebel125 01-24-2006 03:06 PM

i have a dana 30 now but im gonna be changing some stuff up when the springs go in!

KARPE 01-24-2006 03:07 PM

ranger024x4 01-24-2006 03:14 PM

rngprerunner 01-24-2006 03:15 PM

What motor and gears do you have in that thing? 42's? Holy Hell Batman!

I say do it! Not everyday you see a Ranger on 42's...

ryanrebel125 01-24-2006 03:16 PM

i got the 4.0 with 5:13
i still got plenty of power i can power break the **** out of my 39 so 42 aint much bigger!

Sounds good to me! (for some reason I though you had a 3.0  )

Ever thought of 44's :biggthump

01Blueedge 01-24-2006 03:21 PM

my friends dad whom ive known for a long time told me hew wishes that he never sold his 42's to put the 44's on.he said 44' are to hard to drive down the road. my cuz with a solid axle tocoma had 42 tsl and it was fine. put 44's on it and he said 44 suck on the street.

expect to rebuild your motor sometime in the near future pushing those tires. Even with 5.13's and and a d44 up front. Your going to blow your motor apart.

Redneckstone 01-24-2006 04:18 PM

YOU DO IT YOU DO IT NOW.......!!!!!!!!! :censored: :sgrin:

ryanrebel125 01-24-2006 04:33 PM

034x4 01-24-2006 04:35 PM

If you put 42's on the d30.

I will laugh at you.

TrailRateThisFx4 01-24-2006 04:37 PM

Even if you put a D44 up front you better build the **** out of it.

I'd get a 60. I wouldn't go above 40's on a D44, and that big is only if you don't like the skinny pedal.

ranger024x4 01-24-2006 04:44 PM

:stupid:

ryanrebel125 01-24-2006 04:51 PM

i thought about putting a 60 in but i dont no. i dont like the look of full width axle on our trucks. andd it would be a **** load of money to have a 60 narrowed.

04lvl2 01-24-2006 05:34 PM

Lift it up man, its big now but always can go bigger.

HighRollerII 01-24-2006 05:45 PM

lift

vansnxtweek 01-24-2006 06:01 PM

Heck ya..if you can go higher and you have the right materials..go for it!!!

_97_4X4_ 01-24-2006 07:04 PM

I say go for it.... Would you be willing to sell the springs on there now??????

Very interested if so!
