Hey Skyjacker_44: I have an '03 EDGE with the 3.0 and stock gears. I have the 3.5" Fabtech spindle lift and a 3" super lifts body lift, I installed both by myself it take a full day for each lift. Without an impact wrench, torque wrench, lots of sockets, a torch, and a big @ss hammer, good luck. The only hard parts that I had were getting the original spindles off of the lower control arm (You have to just beat the **** out of them with a hammer until they fall, "quoted from Fabtech tech support, and Custom truck shop in Port St. Lucie"), and getting the bolts out off the cab and bed for the body lift (you have to take a torch and heat them up from the bottom, yes it is rubber, no it wont melt, just trust me, if you dont heat them up they will NOT come out, not even with the impact wrench). As for the power issue, my truck has the 3.0 and stock gear (4.10), the truck does move ok still although I do plan on in the near future replacing them with bigger gears, and my gas mileage dropped significantly from 18mpg city to 9-10mpg city, and the truck just plain cant drive on the highway, 70mph is very hard to do and it is reving at about 3100-3200 rpm's. As for the tire size I would not recommend a body lift and suspension lift with 33's, I have 35x12.5" and I think that they are to small, a I'm selling them and getting 37x14.5", yes they do fit (I tryed it). I'm open for anymore questions if you have them....Check out my cardomain page if you are interested in seeing the truck...

I can't see that happening

I agree with 3literbeater. I don't think you know your head from your *** as far as what you are doing with your truck. Just because you may know people with these parts doesn't mean ****. My dad has a 2000 lightning that is totaled sitting in my back yard. That doesn't mean he's gonna fork up the engine for me to stuff in my truck! Hell, maybee I'll swap the 347 out of my mustang and see how it would do in the 1/4 with the 3.0! Anyway, you will really regret the 35's none the less. My 3.0 is a major dog with the 33's not to mention going on a long uphill stretch on a freeway. staying in 3rd gear with your gas pedal mashed just to stay with traffic isn't exactly fuel friendly.
